Kool-Kone's menu boasts a variety of tasty options that cater to every craving. For starters, their Appetizer selection features tempting dishes like the mouthwatering homemade quahogs at $2.50 and hand-cut spicy onion blossoms served with ranch dipping sauce at $4.99. But what really sets Kool-Kone apart is their seafood offerings. Patrons rave about the fried clams and clam cakes, noted for their crispy exteriors and tender interiors. Nicole Hoffman expressed, "The fried clams were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside — some of the best we’ve had anywhere." It's clear that the freshness and flavor are paramount here.
Of course, no visit to Kool-Kone is complete without indulging in dessert. Ice cream aficionados like Theresa Marks praise the real pistachio ice cream, crafted with care and served with generous portions. Whether opting for a classic cone or a creative flavor like Dinosaur Crunch, the ice cream here uniquely complements the savory dishes. You can also grab a coffee frappe and request hard ice cream for a twist on tradition, as noted by Emily Rose.
Kool-Kone strives for affordability without compromising quality. With prices reflecting their commitment to value—appetizers starting from just $2.50—your wallet will be just as satisfied as your taste buds. The casual setting, complete with patio seating, makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal after a stroll along the canal. As Tom Barbato describes, "The food couldn't have been better," and I wholeheartedly agree.

From meals to delightful frozen treats, Kool-Kone invites you to come and savor the flavors that have earned them a devoted following in the heart of Wareham.
“ The ice cream is delicious!! Real pistachio ice cream ( not the almond bits), creamy, and nice portions. Would like to try some food as they have a variety of items. ”
“ Kool Kone in Wareham is a must-visit classic! We stopped in for a seafood fix and were blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The fried clams were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside — some of the best we’ve had anywhere. The clam cakes were golden, light, and packed with savory flavor. Whether you’re passing through or a local regular, Kool Kone hits the mark. Five stars for sure! ”
“ Grilled cheese is good, mottz sticks are great Low prices! Remind me to always ask for hard ice cream with a coffee frappe Also love thr patio seating ”
“ Had the swordfish dinner with pasta and side salad. Swordfish was cooked well and tasted amazing. Both sides were delicious too. Followed with a small Dinosaur Crunch ice cream after. Traveled a hour to go and it was totally worth it! ”
“ made the little ride over here after a walk along the canal a couple weeks ago. Phantom recommended and googled best onion rings in the area. Kool Kone did not disappoint. cheeseburger with mozzarella sticks, chicken finger plate, whole clams and fried fish plate as well as, of course, a side of onion rings. the food couldn't have been better. I mean the onion rings were perfect, the chicken plate had lots of tender chicken the clams and fish were fresh. all for 50 bucks. it was fairly busy at the time too and we didn't have to wait very long for the food. highly, highly recommend!! ”
“ I was out and about last night and was really hungry so I decided to go grab a bite to eat. I thought I haven't been to Kool Kone since I was a teenager and I haven't lived in the area in over 25 years . I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh the food was and how fresh the Cole Slaw was too. I ordered the Seafood Platter with a Large drink ( market value prices ) 37.00 I will say it's very well worth the money. The only thing I didn't like was there was no obvious trash receptacle but luckily a few nice customers said they go outside. Other than that everything was amazing. You do get your monies worth with the prices they charge ”
“ What a cute, delicious joint! Great burgers, dogs, and chicken, Ice cream galore, AND put put! Little bit of a small wait outside, but it was not "long" by any means. The food was well worth the wait! ”
“ First time visit . Huge menu and good prices and portions . People were lined up to order 20 minutes before they opened . That was a good sign that the food should be good and it was . ”
